HOITY TOITY
I've been called a number of things in my life. Hoity toity was never one of them. At least not until just recently. While attending the B&B Show, a group of us were sitting at the bar at the Hilton. (And not even the fancier one). A lady came by and started chatting with us and asked to pull up a chair. Of course we said sure. From this point on she never shut up. No one else could get a word in edgewise. I did manage to ask her what kind of jewelry she makes and could I see some. She responded, "Oh, I never wear anything I make, I don't want to be all hoity toity." As I looked down at the necklace I had been wearing all week containing 1600 crystals that actually is quite blinding ("Until I can Breathe Again" project) , I decided right then and there that I evidently enjoy being all hoity toity.
A reversible right-angle weave necklace. One side pearls, one side crystals. Wear it to a party and secretly keep switching it back and forth all night. The other guests might think they need to slow down on their drinking. Or not.

BABY, YOU'RE SO SQUARE
The original prototype of this project did start out as "squares". Hence the name. But like a lot of beading projects, I changed it a little here, a little there... So now it is actually a rectangle, but I couldn't dream up a good rectangle name. This project is layered right angle weave - count them - four layers of RAW. Embellished with crystals, pearls, or your favorite embellishment. Each rectangle is connected with size 11/0 seed beads. A simple gradual expansion of those connections, and you can turn this bracelet into a matching necklace.

SIMPLY MARVELOUS, DARLING
Make sure you say the name of this project with one of those snobby aristocratic accents. Like the "Countess" on Real Housewives of New York. Simply marrrrrrrrrrrvelous...... Not that I watch that show. Okay, beaders watch anything and everything, or at least listen. Who would have thunk a farm girl from central Illinois could have pulled off such a big city kind of cuff? A rich, marvelous one at that. Hey, I got all kinds of surprises in me. A little bit of old, a little bit of new, and a whole lot of me. This layered right angle weave bracelet with its hidden snap clasp, is perfect for that little black dress or your favorite pair of jeans.

UNTIL I CAN BREATHE AGAIN
I never ever imagined I would be without my husband. Evidently, he imagined differently. This is the project you start and just keep on making in every color combination imaginable, until you can do what I finally learned to do - - breathe again. "Do avoid getting involved with a man who is going to need killin' before its all over." - Sweet Potato Queens. Quit Ranting and talk about the Project. Okay, its basic couldn't-be-easier Peyote, all done MY WAY!!

YOU GIVE ME RUFFLES
This bangle was featured in Bead & Button's online "Subscriber Exclusive" project.' The thing is, I own a bead store, so of course I want to everyone to buy their Bead & Button magazines from me, saavy businesswoman that I am. But to download this project, you had to be a subscriber. So my head was doing the Exorcist turn over this one. While I am always honored, thrilled, and still shocked to be featured in any of the magazines, this one didn't turn out quite as planned. But the gals at Bead & Button have always been very good to me so after a few head spins, I quickly recovered.

A METALSMITH'S MATCH
VERSION NO. 201
What can I possibly say about the Metalsmith Match Bangle that hasn't already been said? I received hundreds of emails about it, all complimentary I might add. A bangle was the very first thing I ever wanted to bead, BUT, that didn't happen for quite a few years. No matter what I tried, it didn't work. But undaunted, relentless, determined, dogged, I kept at it. You can thank me in person. xoxoxo

LET'S DO THE TWIST
Oh, if I could only dance. This bracelet would be perfect for some sexy Latin dance. This project is based on Right Angle Weave with a simple little "peyote twist" Lots and lots of 3mm and 4mm crystals adorn. Like so many of my designs, this one isn't for the shy. Big, bold and sassy.

RICHER RUFFLES
As I type this, I am wearing this bracelet. It is a definite favorite. I've said this before. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing any clothes that are ruffled, so why is it I like ruffled jewelry so much. Do I still like a little dab of "girly" here and there? You bet I do. And the fact that peyote ruffles are fun to stitch, make it even better. Yes, I do get my fun in strange ways. There aren't too many other things I would rather be doing than sitting on my couch with a good movie, and a bead tray in my lap. I expect an intervention any day.

CZECH ME OUT TOO
Thats right, go ahead and czech me out. I am pretty sure I can stand up to your scrutiny. At least as far as beading goes. Not to sure about anything else. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, also Bloomington, Danvers......, and anywhere else I might be. A right-angle weave necklace embellished with Czech picasso seed beads and of course, crystals.

TA-DAH!
If I don't toot my own horn, who will? This one came together easy. I see an idea in my head, and start stitching away. A long marathon beading session later, it either works or it didn't. Sometimes they don't work. Sometimes I don't work. But when it all comes together... This is a big wide cuff done in right-angle weave.

DID IT MY WAY
I'm the first to admit that "my way" might not always be the right way. But I do what I gotta do. Sometimes I take the high road. Sometimes only the low road will satisfy. But this bracelet is sure to satisfy everyone. Right angle weave. Czech Firepolish, or you can even use Swarovski if you are of the desire. Do it Your Way.

JULES OF MY HEART
Named after the jewel of my heart, my first grandchild. Combining the two things I like the best, layered right angle weave and a ruffle. Like most of my ideas, this probably isn't for the timid wearer. I like them big and bold, fat and sassy, a chunky hunk... We never ever do "dainty".
